TORRONE CREMASCO: ALL THE GOODNESS OF TRADITION

Torrone nougat has ancient, often disputed origins. What's known for certain is that in the 15th century artisanal production of this speciality was becoming widespread in the Cremona region, but in recent years the modern product has lost the artisanal authenticity that should be typical of this sweet.

Bandirali's “Torrone Cremasco” is a response to the challenge to rediscover this ancient memory, made up of ancient machinery, recipes, scrupulous care in the selection of ingredients and lots of passion.

The torrone is made in an old copper vessel made specifically for this purpose. Torrone is based on simple, genuine products - different kinds of honey, some of it local, cane sugar, fresh egg whites and Italian almonds.

The finished product has a distinctive circular shape, like a handmade rustic loaf, balanced, harmonious flavour and brittle consistency.

This speciality is joined by Torrone Morbido with almonds in the classic bar shape, also handmade, and produced with the same care and attention.

Together these genuine, carefully-selected ingredients produce one of Italy's finest torrone.
